What is Masseter Botox?

The jawline plays a very effective role in the overall shape of the face. Especially for women who have an extremely square and round face shape, it can be uncomfortable if the jawline is unclear. Because no matter how much weight they lose, their faces continue to look overweight. The muscle known as the masticatory muscle grows or develops too much, the result may be a square, even overly masculine-looking jawline.

Jaw thinning and facial ovalization with surgical techniques can be a very laborious operation for the patient. This is a difficult treatment option that is very painful, has a long recovery time and does not always give natural-looking results. Nowadays, a heart-shaped face shape can be obtained without the need for a healing process with a non-surgical technique known as masseter botox.

How does Botox work?

Botulinum toxin is a type of purified protein. It is a very reliable procedure that is also used in the treatment of many medical conditions, such as migraines and muscle spasms. It acts by blocking the activity of nerves and relaxing muscles and is used not only for cosmetic purposes, but also for a wide range of medical procedures.

Masseter botox injection provides the removal of width by relaxing the muscles. This reduces the size of the jaw, resulting in a smaller jawline and a narrower-looking face shape. The results become much more noticeable within a few days.

Who is it suitable for?

Adults who are not satisfied with the square and wide shape of their jaw and who are in good general health can benefit from this operation. The fact that the chin is wide and thick causes a masculine and overweight appearance in women with this feature. With just a few botox injections, face shapes can become completely proportional and aesthetic. However, it should be remembered that it is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers and people who are not in a good general health condition.

It is a painless procedure that takes an average of 10 minutes. There is no need for a healing process. The patient can resume work immediately. It takes an average of 1 month for the jaw to take its full shape.

Stay with love.
