1. What is PRP Therapy?
Hair PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy is done by the patient’s own Platelet-Rich Plasma being injected into the scalp using a thin micro needle. Hair PRP Therapy is a non-surgical and natural procedure used for the treatment of hair loss or thinning of the hair. There is no pain caused during the treatment, because it’s done using a thin micro needle to inject the blood into the scalp, but if desired patients can be given local/general anesthesia or sedation to minimize the pain. Hair PRP Therapy can be performed alone or it can also be performed together with hair transplantation or restoration surgery.
