ABOUT UMBILICOPLASTY TURKEY
For umbilicoplasty in Turkey hospitals apart from improving the person appearance, Umbilicoplasty surgery is usually done using local anesthesia together with sedative to make the patient feel drowsy so the patient is kept awake but not feeling any discomfort. The surgery usually takes an hour to perform unless there are other surgeries done with it. Different techniques are used to perform the surgery depending on the new shape desired by the patient. The surgeon will make incisions inside the belly button to make scars less visible. A light dressing may be applied after the surgery but there is no need for drainage tubes. Stitches used are usually dissolvable so there is no need for them to be removed.

Local anesthesia – induces absence of sensation to a specific part of the body.
.
FIRST DAY
Patients will attend consultation with the Turkey umbilicoplasty doctor in Antalya and Istanbul hospitals and will be advised about the procedure and their condition. The patient will then be taken through a couple of tests that are required before the surgery. If desired, patients can spend the day to rest and attend the hospital the next day.
.
SECOND DAY
Umbilicoplasty surgery will be performed. The surgery will be performed using local anesthesia along with sedatives. Once the surgery is over the patient will be taken to a private room where they will be staying for resting. The surgeon will perform a check up and if they are approved to be in a good, healthy condition and the surgery results are all successful; the patients are advised with post treatment care requirements and are ready to be discharged from hospital to their settlements, unless there are other surgeries performed together with Umbilicoplasty which require for them to stay in hospital.
.
THIRD DAY
Patients will attend a post surgery appointment for a final check up and consultation. There is no need for the stitches to be removed, as dissolvable stitches will be used and they will eventually fall out. The patient will be advised on further medication. If everything is right, then the patient is ready to return to their destination.
Patients must avoid heavy activities like bending and lifting. Patients are able to go on little tours around the city if they are feeling better and carry on taking their medications correctly.
